confession:
this morning i had 2 (it might have been three and a half four and a half) homemade chocolate chip cookies and a cup of coffee for breakfast. i was planning on having yogurt with organic raspberries and fresh squeezed OJ from central market... but those damn cookies were taunting me on the counter. and i was tired, so i made coffee. (with this delicious hazelnut organic syrup my mom got me. heavenly.)
second confession: i was determined to make up for this decidedly unhealthy breakfast by skipping the snacking at work (damn never-ending goldfish!!*) however. there was a birthday celebration and a most delicious, decadent cake from the local bakery was served with fresh strawberries. so i had a piece of that for lunch.
perhaps a salad for dinner is in order???
*i work with children so there are huge containers of tasty snacks (goldfish, ritz air crisps, teddy grahams, nilla wafers, pretzels, etc) that are constantly being refilled. makes sticking to a healthy eating plan challenging. i frequently go through at least five several handfuls of goldfish each day...
